SBS ep. 110 – EX7000 Action Cam Review

Published on Apr 3, 2017

This is a brief review of the Akaso EX7000 action cam. I decided to keep it brief because I was not pleased with the quality of the cam. The video was decent at 1080p and 60 fps, but the audio was terrible. No way to adjust it and when events or talking in the scene were too loud, the audio distorted terribly. The remote was non-functional from the start, and the WiFi was difficult to get working on my iPad and never worked on my Android.

Although I will keep it for fill in shots, I do NOT recommend it.

Thanks for watching!

About Captain Tom

Over 10 years sailing and over 3500 miles under our keel. Was an engineer (EE) for over 30 years, then after moving into management, decided that the corporate world was no longer for me. Ran my wife's law office for 15 years and recently retired. Now we live aboard and sail the California coast, soon to leave for the Sea of Cortez.
